Sundays at FBC

We understand that finding a local church home can be an intimidating process. We hope the information found below is helpful for you as you seek to connect with a local body of believers. Here are some answers to some commonly asked questions about our church:

WHO GOES HERE?

You will encounter a distinct and diverse group of people when you come to First Baptist Church. There are families and individuals that encompass a wide range of ages and backgrounds. When you connect with us, you will find imperfect people who are seeking to love and obey Jesus and serve their community faithfully. Overall, there are people on different stages of their spiritual journey. Whether you have questions about Jesus and Christianity or you have been following Jesus for decades, there’s a place for you!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

At FBC, you will see people wearing jeans and suits, dresses and t-shirts.  Whatever you wear, you will be welcome. We believe what matters most is what God is doing in our hearts.

WHERE DO I TAKE MY KIDS?

We have great, safe, and enriching options for your children of all ages. All of our children and youth workers and volunteers are excited to serve your family during Sunday School and worship.

When you come in the back entrance, there will be signs telling you where to go and a greeter who can show you where to take your kids. During the Sunday School hour (9:00-9:45), we offer nursery for children ages infant-2 yrs, a class for children preschool-5K, and a class for children 1st-6th grade. Teenagers are welcome in any Sunday School class they choose!

During the Worship Hour at 10:00, the nursery is available for children birth – 2 years old. Children in preschool-5K are invited to attend the service or attend Children’s Church on the first floor. Kids 1st through 6th grade are invited to attend the service each week!

Additionally, on the first week of the month, we will have a special Puppet Ministry for kids preschool through 6th grade! Kids in the service will be released for this right before the sermon.

More details, including exact room numbers are available here!

WHAT WILL THE SERVICE BE LIKE?

Our services are full of God’s Word, prayer, singing, and Bible teaching. More than anything else, we hope our services help everyone see and experience Jesus.
